Original Design
I was given three different sets of hex drivers, with three different holders. My job was to redesign the three holders, and I chose to combine the three holders into one holder.
Redesign Presearch/Sketches
While brainstorming I stumbled upon a couple of designs I thought would work for this application and I based my design off of something simple that would work.
Designing in Inventor
While designing the tool holder, I ran into a couple of problems with incorrect measurements. The incorrect measurements were critical and could not have been printed without being fixed. Therefore, it took a little longer to get ready to print, and when I went to go print the length of the print was too long so I had to modify my design to make the length of the print shorter.

Summary
This project tested my skills in Inventor, which were pretty rusty. I really enjoyed this project because it got me out of my comfort zone in the Inventor software. I learned to take your time measuring things, time and lengths, because I fell behind pretty quickly for small little errors. I am proud of my redesigned tool holder and I am looking forward to seeing other student's projects.
